‘Music Bank in Paris’ was on January at 11:05PM in two 80-minute segments.
SHINee departed for Paris earlier this week for Music Bank in Paris (held in Paris) and it looks like the members enjoyed their stay in the romantic city.
Both Minho and Key sent updates through the group’s me2day. Minho took two pictures with the Eiffel Tower looming in the background and wrote, “Paris is the city of romance…”

Meanwhile, Key seems to have felt the bitter cold in Paris (though one would think that Korea is colder) as he tried to pose in one picture. He wrote, “Kim Key lost his pose because of the cold Paris.”
However, he must have warmed up considerably thanks to the morning sun streaming on his face. Ah Key, you felt much better, didn’t you?
All the 4 member was in Paris, while Onew stayed home bcs he had suffered a injury to his ankle.
At a press conference that was held ahead of the performance, fellow member Jonghyun announced the news to the local and international media outlets present and sincerely apologized for Onew’s absence.
“Onew will not be able to stand on stage due to his ankle injury,” he said.
“We are really upset that he will not be able to be with us on stage,but we will make sure all five of us perform together for our next stage in Europe.”
“This is our second time in Paris after last year,” he continued.
“Watching last year’s performance, I realized that a passion for performance exists in each country.”
“I think this will be a good opportunity for cultural exchange,” he added.
“We promise to put on a good show for you.”
SHINee’s Taemin will be joining the 93-liners and early 94-liners (IU, KARA’s Jiyoung, T-ara’s Jiyeon, to name a few) in graduating high school on February 9th and 10th, but thanks to his participation with his group members on the February 8th for Music Bank in Paris, it’s most likely that the dancing maknae will be missing out on his high school graduation ceremony.
Music Bank in Paris will occur on February 8th, but it is uncertain whether SHINee will have additional promotions and photoshoots while there. Certainly, it will be a bummer for Taemin, as high school graduation ceremonies happen only once in your life.
Btw, Im so sad and happy in the same time..i’m sad bcs Taemin miss his school graduation, and i’m happy bcs he went in paris with all the members [without Onew bcs he hurt his ankle and can’t perform.. :( Poor Onew..he is always hurting himself..it’s called “Onew Condition” xD]
